FW: Project South supports Haiti Earthquake Relief

Local Atlanta Haiti Earthquake Relief Efforts

Designated collection centers have been established for people to contribute to the Haiti Earthquake Relief. Project South, Hunger Coalition, People's Institute, and Latin American & Carribean Community Center have come together to organize and  is one of these designated collection centers in Atlanta.  We are collecting the following items of necessity for our brother and sisters:

  • Water/Gatorade/Powerade/Vitamin Water
  • Medicine/Medical Supplies: Tylenol, Ibuprofen, Pepto Bismal, Pain Killers, Antibiotics, Peroxide, bandages, alcohol, gauze, etc...
  • Non-perishable Foods i.e. Cereal bars, crackers, power bars, and Meals Ready to Eat (No can food unless there is pop top).
  • Tents
  • Cots
  • Sheets/Blankets/Pillows
  • Towels
  • Toiletries
  • Port-A-Potty
  • Solar Lanterns/Lamps
  • Body Bags
  • Clothes/Shoes (Please bring clean clothes that aren't damaged)
